This chicken jerky price update is our second published post since 2023. As with all jerky price updates, several jerky brands could no longer be tracked. The main reasons include the jerky maker going out of business, a jerky brand no longer selling jerky bags between 2 ounces and 4 ounces online, and a company may still be in business but stopped selling chicken jerky.
All jerky makers in this chicken price update are from the United States and sell chicken jerky in bags online of 2 to 4 ounces. In the 2023 Chicken Jerky Price Update, 18 chicken jerky brands were tracked. Of those 18 chicken jerky brands, only one had a lower price in 2024. In this 2024 Chicken Jerky Price Update, I only found an additional three chicken jerky brands, bumping this 2024 Chicken Jerky price update to 21 chicken jerky brands.
The price of chicken jerky decreased by 35 cents, and the average price range expanded by 50 cents for an overall increase of 15 cents per ounce in 2024.
