This biltong price update is our third published post since 2022. As with all price updates, several biltong brands could no longer be tracked. The main reasons include the biltong maker going out of business, a biltong brand no longer selling biltong bags between 2 ounces and 4 ounces online, and a company may still be in business but stopped selling biltong.
All biltong makers in this biltong price update are from the United States and sell biltong in bags online of 2 to 4 ounces. In the 2024 Biltong Price Update, 32 biltong brands were tracked. Of those 32 biltong brands, four biltong makers lowered their price in 2024. In this 2024 Biltong Price Update, I managed to find only one additional biltong brand, expanding this 2024 Biltong price update to 33 biltong brands. All 50 states were scoured for biltong brands after eliminating Canadian biltong makers.
The price of biltong increased by only one cent price per ounce in 2024.
