Of all of our milestones celebrated, having 800 jerky bags submitted for review to date is what makes us most proud. Without the kindness of jerky makers submitting jerky for review, this jerky review website would not be possible. We want to thank every jerky maker who has submitted for review and every jerky maker who will go forward. Even after we recently surpassed 400 jerky brands reviewed, there is still no shortage of jerky brands that we have not reviewed yet. We still have plenty of jerky in our inventory to review. For the last two years or so, we have been publishing two jerky reviews steadily. Earlier in the year, I was publishing three jerky reviews a week to catch up on our inventory. We are getting closer to our goal of reviewing all 50 USA states, with just Maine, Alabama, New Hampshire, and Delaware remaining. On a recent trip to California, an Alabama jerky maker expressed interest in submitting their jerky for review, but for whatever reason that did not materialize.
The Jerky Shrine continues to mature after debuting in January 2019. A wall was dedicated to jerky paraphernalia, where corkboard has been attached to the entire wall. One Jerky Shrine Corkboard is full and officially retired. The other corkboard is almost at full capacity. The Jerky Shrine closet is starting to get crowded with various jerky paraphernalia. You never know what to expect with each jerky maker submission.
