Slowly but surely, we finally managed to get 100 jerky brands on display in the Jerky Shrine. As with each jerky maker submission, I highly encourage them to donate any jerky paraphernalia to the Jerky Shrine. Each jerky submission is a total mystery as to what we are receiving, whether it be the jerky itself or the jerky paraphernalia. Sometimes, we are spoiled with items for the Jerky Shrine, and other times, we are left with nothing. As a bare minimum, I ask the jerky maker to include business cards for the Jerky Shrine. While this can be my fault for not specifying exactly, a jerky maker may send us one double-sided business card. We prefer to display both sides of the business card in the Jerky Shrine.
When the Jerky Shrine debuted in January 2019, there were two corkboards and larger items for the Jerky Shrine closet. By the summer of 2019, it soon became apparent that a third corkboard would be needed. I then decided to put corkboard on an entire wall. The Jerky Shrine wall is divided into two sections. The left hand side is entirely devoted to jerky brands from the United States. The right hand side is devoted to international jerky brands, including Canada. The two Jerky Shrine corkboards are getting near complete with some recent Jerky Shrine donations.
