500 Jerky Shrine Brands
It took eighteen years, from 2007, to accumulate 500 jerky shrine brands. Back then, I was not even sure 500 jerky brands existed. In the 2025 Beef Jerky Update, I found 410 USA jerky brands whose products are available for purchase online. I would estimate that there are at least 700 jerky brands, including all farms, ranches, small jerky brands, stores, smokehouses, and butchers in the USA. Read More

2024 New Jersey Trip
My wife Stephanie (Birdie), son Joshua, and I’s trip to New Jersey to visit my wife’s cousin’s family was a success over the holidays. This time, seven of the eleven jerky maker submissions came through, although one arrived on the day we left. 2024 California Trip
My wife Stephanie (Birdie) and I’s trip to California was a success, mainly based at Port Hueneme, Madera, and Lake Tahoe. It was great to catch up on Steph’s extended family and friends. What started out in 2007 as saving jerky bags for ideas on what ingredients to use on my homemade jerky has now grown to 1600 jerky bags.
