We here at Jerky Ingredients are proud of this accomplishment, where only one other person in the world can make this claim. To date, we have received over 400 jerky bags submitted for review from jerky makers across 7 different countries.
We have always viewed jerky submissions as a win-win situation. Jerky makers get free publicity apart from the wholesale cost of the jerky itself and shipping charges. For us, we are given the privilege of reviewing another jerky maker and/or new flavor. True, there is the risk that we could give a negative taste review. In reality, it is uncommon for a small to medium sized jerky maker to go through all of the efforts of launching a new jerky brand without minimum having at least a decent tasting product.
It has been a pleasure and honor to work with the 94 jerky brands submitting 400 jerky flavors as of April 23/2018. That would average out to be a little over 4 jerky bags submitted per jerky maker. We have had many jerky makers submit their jerky on multiple occasions, meaning that we have developed trust with our professionalism. Jerky makers tend to be perfectionists who pay a great deal of attention to detail, and are also hard working.
