3 Elizabeth’s Guinness Steak Cuts – Chocolate Guinness Steak Cuts

Tuesday, October 28, 2025 Leave a Comment

3 Elizabeth's Guinness Steak Cuts - Chocolate Guinness Steak Cuts3 Elizabeths debuted its Guinness Steak Cuts in June 2025, a premium snack crafted from high-quality eye of round beef infused with the rich flavor of Guinness. While resembling traditional beef jerky, they prefer the term “steak cuts” to emphasize the product’s quality and texture. 3 Elizabeths was founded by three women, all named Elizabeth, who are committed to providing healthy snack alternatives made with natural ingredients. Their products are designed for consumers seeking quality snacks without artificial additives.

This collaboration with Guinness, the iconic Dublin-based beer brand, combines the deep, roasted flavors of Guinness with tender beef slices, offering a unique snacking experience. This 3 Elizabeth’s Guinness Steak Cuts jerky brand is distributed under the name Sidari Artisan Brands, and is located in Cleveland, Ohio. Sidari Artisan Brands focuses on bringing local flavors to a national market by empowering artisanal entrepreneurs and ensuring that small businesses and local brands can reach broader audiences without compromising quality.

The next review on 3 Elizabeth’s Guinness Steak Cuts will focus on a 2.5 ounce/71 gram bag of their Chocolate flavored steak cuts. This flavor is described as blending the smooth, rich flavors of Guinness with premium cacao beans and exotic spices for a delightfully savory snacking experience. These steak cuts were graciously submitted for review by Marketing Manager/Target Account Specialist Mary Santelli.

3 Elizabeth's Guinness Steak Cuts - Chocolate Guinness Steak CutsThe beef used is not guaranteed to be free of growth hormones or additional antibiotics. Also, the beef is not guaranteed to have at least partial free range access to graze on grass. As a result, the highest ingredient rating that can be awarded is a Good (8/10) rating.

3 Elizabeth's Guinness Steak Cuts - Chocolate Guinness Steak CutsThe liquid marinade used here is comprised of a well-respected brand of gluten-free soy sauce, water, and not so healthy Guinness zero ale.

Some healthy ingredients added are cocoa powder, coffee extract, vanilla, and spices. The vague term natural flavorings is a listed ingredient, which may contain both healthy and unhealthy ingredients.

The sugar level is acceptable at 3 grams of sugar per 28 grams of steak cuts. The salt level is a little low at 250mg of salt per 28 grams of steak cuts.

These steak cuts qualify to have no sodium nitrite or any other similar unhealthy preservatives. Instead, the main preservative used is salt. Admirably, there is no MSG added.

3 ELIZABETH’S GUINNESS STEAK CUTS – CHOCOLATE GUINNESS STEAK CUTS

Written by guest steak cuts reviewer Paul Rekker

When I open the bag I smell basically nothing. The strips are small to medium in size and sliced to a medium thickness. The jerky is rigid enough to somewhat appease our forefathers. There is no oily residue.

When I bite into the jerky I immediately taste mild salt, sweeter than I would usually endorse, mild pepper, as well as mild garlic and onion. I detect the chocolate flavor, it is present, but not to excess. I do not pick up on the Guinness though, it is not really making an appearance. This flavor is not a typical jerky flavor; chocolate should not be an ingredient in jerky, as it compromises the integrity of the original meaning of jerky.

But, as a flavor, it is decent, so I will award a 7/10. Gentlemen?

Written by guest steak cuts reviewer Stéphane Leclerc

I sniffed the contents of the bag, and I was not so sure I’d like this jerky, as the smell of beer was rather pungent. I took a small bite and the flavor was exquisite. The flavor profile is rich and complex, delivering a sensational depth. The light sweetness and its slight bitterness make the flavor of this tasty product “pop” in a significant way.

I am the first one to be amazed that I’ve enjoyed this jerky, and I do. The flavors are really well paired, and the result is nothing short of a flavor bomb. The strips are nice, lean, thick, tender, and the flavor is consistent throughout every bite.

I’d recommend this jerky. It is delicious, refined, and a definitely worthwhile new experience. I rate this jerky a 10/10 Taste Rating.

Here is what Mark had to say about this Chocolate steak cut flavor from 3 Elizabeth’s Guinness Steak Cuts: “Thanks Paul and Stéphane for the interesting taste reviews. I lean with Stéphane here. Starting with the smell, I found that the fragrance of chocolate is much more prevalent than the smell of Guinness. The same could be said for the jerky, where chocolate is the dominant taste and the taste of Guinness is distant.”

“As Stéphane noted, the overall taste profile is extremely well-balanced. There is no hint whatsoever of this beef tasting processed, and the odd strips have some fat, which accentuates the natural beef flavor even more. The more strips I consumed, the more this Chocolate flavor grew on me, which is an unusual flavor for jerky despite Paul’s biases. The addition of coffee extract and gluten free soy sauce is wonderful and fits in beautifully. Kudos to the chef who conceived this wonderful masterpiece. With Paul at a 7 and Stéphane and me at a 10, a Very Good (9/10) taste rating will be awarded. A very enthusiastic two thumbs up!!👍👍”

This 2.5 ounce/71 gram bag of jerky sells for $8.99. That works out to $3.60 an ounce, which rates as an average price.

This black, resealable plastic bag has everything imprinted on the bag, both on the front and the back. There is a high resolution picture of the front of these steak strips on a cutting board. The Guinness logo of a harp is displayed.

Some missing bag categories are a transparent window to view the steak cuts and the steak cuts weight stated in grams. A QR code is displayed on the back.
