3 Elizabeths debuted its Guinness Steak Cuts in June 2025, a premium snack crafted from high-quality eye of round beef infused with the rich flavor of Guinness. While resembling traditional beef jerky, they prefer the term “steak cuts” to emphasize the product’s quality and texture. 3 Elizabeths was founded by three women, all named Elizabeth, who are committed to providing healthy snack alternatives made with natural ingredients. Their products are designed for consumers seeking quality snacks without artificial additives.
This collaboration with Guinness, the iconic Dublin-based beer brand, combines the deep, roasted flavors of Guinness with tender beef slices, offering a unique snacking experience. This Guinness Steak Cuts jerky brand is distributed under the name Sidari Artisan Brands, and is located in Cleveland, Ohio. Sidari Artisan Brands focuses on bringing local flavors to a national market by empowering artisanal entrepreneurs and ensuring that small businesses and local brands can reach broader audiences without compromising quality.
The next review on Guinness Steak Cuts will focus on a 2.5 ounce/71 gram bag of their Coffee flavored steak cuts. This flavor is described as blending the smooth, rich flavors of Guinness with premium cacao beans and exotic spices for a delightfully savory snacking experience. These steak cuts were kindly submitted for review by Marketing Manager/Target Account Specialist Mary Santelli.

Ingredients: Beef, Soy Sauce (Water, Soybeans, Salt, Alcohol (Retain Freshness)), Honey, Water, Sugar, Guinness Zero Ale (Malted Barley, Barley, Fructose, Natural Flavorings, Hops, Yeast), Contains 2% or less of: Coffee Extract, Molasses, Natural Flavors. Allergen Warnings: Soy
The beef used is not guaranteed to be free of growth hormones or additional antibiotics. Also, the beef is not guaranteed to have at least partial free range access to graze on grass. As a result, the highest ingredient rating that can be awarded is a Good (8/10) rating.
The liquid marinade used here is comprised of a well-respected brand of gluten-free soy sauce, water, healthy honey, and not so healthy Guinness zero ale.
Some healthy ingredients added are coffee extract (questionable if it’s healthy) and the vague term natural flavorings, which may contain both healthy and unhealthy ingredients.
The sugar level is acceptable at 2 grams of sugar per 28 grams of steak cuts. The salt level is acceptable at 340mg of salt per 28 grams of steak cuts.
These steak cuts qualify to have no sodium nitrite or any other similar unhealthy preservatives. Instead, the main preservative used is salt. Admirably, there is no MSG added.

GUINNESS STEAK CUTS – COFFEE GUINNESS STEAK CUTS
Written by guest steak cuts reviewer Paul Rekker
When I open the bag I smell basically nothing. The strips are small to medium in size and sliced to a medium thickness. The jerky is rigid enough to somewhat appease our forefathers. There is no oily residue.
When I bite into the jerky, I immediately taste mild salt, sweeter than I would usually endorse, mild pepper, as well as mild garlic and onion. I detect the chocolate flavor, it is present, but not to excess. I do not pick up on the Guinness though, it is not really making an appearance. This flavor is not a typical jerky flavor; chocolate should not be an ingredient in jerky, as it compromises the integrity of the original meaning of jerky. While I realize Guinness is in the name of the jerky, I fail to detect any as I consume the jerky.
But, as a flavor, it is decent, so I will award a 7/10. Gentlemen?

Guinness Steak Cuts Coffee – I was rather skeptical at first, as I perused the description. However, I shoved my nose into the bag and immediately began re-evaluating everything. I don’t usually care much for beer flavored or marinated food. I took a first bite and before long, I couldn’t stop. It’s addictive! This jerky is packed with great flavors, it has richness and depth of flavors. The flavors are well balanced, and the seasoning elevates the beef without overwhelming the taste. I’ve tasted a faint bitterness from the coffee. I believe the coffee is not meant as much for taste as for elevating and creating a clearer distinction between the flavors.
The saltiness is at a perfect level, and the light sweetness nicely balances the flavor profile. The texture is delectable and also complements the jerky.
I am duly impressed by this very tasty treat and by how much I enjoy it. As I said, I am not usually into beer flavored food, and these Guinness Steak Cuts may have converted me and expanded my horizon. It’s a 10/10 Taste Rating all day long and twice on Friday.
Here is what Mark had to say about this Chocolate steak cut flavor from Guinness Steak Cuts: “Thanks Paul and Stéphane for the candid taste reviews. I definitely lean towards Stéphane here. Starting with the sweetness, as with Paul, I prefer little to no sweetness, but it is by no means a distraction. As with all beer jerky reviews, the taste of Guinness beer is difficult to detect but not impossible.”
“The taste of coffee is prevalent but seems to dissipate each passing day quickly. I can kind of blame that on the Christmas holidays disrupting our normal flow of jerky reviews. There is no hint whatsoever of this beef tasting processed, which lends itself to label these jerky strips as steak cuts.”
“As Stéphane mentioned, the overall taste profile is somewhat simple but well-balanced, with the taste of coffee being the star of the show. I have no clear cut complaints about these steak strips, other than they sort of lack a ‘wow’ factor, but my portion was finished quickly. With Paul at a 7, Stéphane at a 10, and myself at a 9, a Very Good (9/10) taste rating will be awarded.”
This 2.5 ounce/71 gram bag of jerky sells for $8.99. That works out to $3.60 an ounce, which rates as an average price.
