Paul and I had a successful trip to Lewiston and Niagara Falls, New York. It was more of a visit than a trip as we only spent four hours in New York. Unfortunately, Stéphane was unable to attend after discovering that his passport had expired. We managed to bring back home 28 bags of jerky, 20 of which were submitted for review. A special thanks to Funky’s Meat Snacks, Hook-N-Ladder Jerky, and Bourgeois Meat Market for donating 20 of the total 28 bags and jerky paraphernalia for the Jerky Shrine secured on this trip to New York.
A bag of jerky was ordered online from New Hampshire, bringing us up to 47 USA states reviewed. That leaves only Alabama, Delaware, and Maine unreviewed, where a stated goal from day one is to review all 50 states.
With the jerky haul on this New York trip, that now puts us over 1,900 jerky bags in the Jerky Shrine. We are up to over 800 bags from 172 jerky brands submitted, with 516 jerky brands in the Jerky Shrine, and soon to be 124 jerky brands on display.
