BeefCake Jerky Co. is a bold and rapidly growing brand founded by Andrew Flair on May 1st, 2023. The brand aimed to introduce a thick and tender cut of jerky that is naturally smoked, similar to what can be made at home, to the market. When developing their jerky, they noticed only a few brands sold pork jerky. So, they conducted in-house research and development and developed what they believe is the best quality and flavors of pork and beef jerky on the market.
Since launching years ago, they have produced eight jerky flavors. Every new flavor of jerky they release on their website sells out within hours, sometimes even minutes, due to the loyal consumer base they have formed around BeefCake Jerky Co. They have sold over a million bags of beef and pork jerky on their website, and they are available in over 500 convenience and grocery stores across the US. What sets them apart from other jerky companies is their Pork Jerky and bold flavors! This BeefCake Jerky Co. brand is distributed under the same name as BeefCake Jerky Co., and it is located in Omaha, Nebraska.
The next review on BeefCake Jerky Co. will focus on a 2.7 ounce/77 gram bag of their Roasted Garlic flavored beef jerky. This flavor is described as tender, thick cut, naturally smoked, and made with the finest ingredients nature has to offer. The jerky was kindly submitted for review by Customer Support/Influencer Outreach, Dustin Hunt.
Ingredient Review
Ingredients: Beef, Water, Brown Sugar, Honey, Contains 2% or Less of the Following: Salt, Natural Spices, Natural Flavorings, Cultured Celery Powder.
This beef used is not guaranteed to be free of growth hormones or additional antibiotics. Also, the beef is not guaranteed to have at least partial free range access to graze on grass. As a result, the highest ingredient rating that can be awarded is a Good (8/10) rating.
The only healthy ingredients added are spices. The vague term natural flavorings is listed, which can contain healthy and unhealthy ingredients.
The sugar level is high at 7 grams of sugar per 28 grams of jerky to lose a rating. Our preference is 3 grams of sugar or under per 28 grams of jerky. The salt level is high at 460mg of salt per 28 grams of jerky to lose another rating. Our preference is 350mg of salt or less per 28 grams of jerky.
This jerky does qualify to have no sodium nitrite or any other similar unhealthy preservatives. Instead, the main preservatives used are salt and cultured celery powder to a lesser extent. Admirably, there is no MSG added.

BEEFCAKE JERKY CO. – ROASTED GARLIC BEEF JERKY
Written by guest jerky reviewer Paul Rekker
When I open the bag I smell mild vinegar, and nothing else. The pieces are small to medium in size, and they are sliced to a medium thickness. The jerky is primarily rigid and dry, like our forefathers intended. There is no oily residue left on your fingers.
When I bite into the jerky, I am met with a medium level of saltiness, minimal sweetness, medium pepper, slight onion, and a decent garlic flavor. It is not overpowering or even dominant, but it is noticeable enough, at least sufficient to warrant a 9/10, only deducting a point for the lack of a “Wow!!” factor. Gentlemen?

This is a very tasty jerky. The beefy flavor is front and center. The roasted garlic, with its natural sweetness and subtle hint of smokiness, is well balanced. The saltiness is reasonable, as it adds more nuanced flavors to the overall experience without being overpowering. The texture and medium thickness are comparable to other jerky.
I’ve enjoyed the simplicity of this jerky, and the flavor profile is well balanced. The beef is the star of the show without any distraction from stronger flavors such as soy sauce and other flavor enhancers.
I rate this jerky a well deserved 9/10 Taste Rating.
Here is what Mark had to say about this Roasted Garlic beef jerky flavor from BeefCake Jerky Co.: “Thanks Paul and Stéphane for the positive taste reviews. I agree with everything stated, as I too enjoyed this flavor. The garlic flavor is not particularly strong, but it’s at a decent level. You can tell that it’s roasted garlic. I could argue that there is too much sweetness present, but it is likely within reason. The natural beef flavor has no hint of tasting processed. With no real complaints other than it lacks ‘wow’ factor. A unanimous Very Good (9/10) will be awarded.”
This 2.7 ounce/77 gram bag of jerky sells online for $8.99. That works out to $3.33 an ounce, which rates as an average price.

Bag Review
This black, resealable plastic bag has everything imprinted on the front and the back. The logo of the BeefCake Jerky Co. has a bull’s head.
Some slogans printed could be “Real Jerky For Real Men” and “No Bullsh*t”. Some facts printed are “Premium Jerky”, “10g Protein”, “90 Calories”, “No Nitrates or Nitrites Added”.
The only missing bag category is the distributor address details. A QR code is displayed on the back. You are encouraged to follow BeefCake Jerky Co. on Instagram and Facebook. A good blurb about this jerky is printed on the back.
