Bull’s snack sticks are a classic, no‑pork meat snack made primarily from a blend of beef and chicken. Crafted for snacking convenience and known for their satisfying savory flavor. They are MSG-free, high in protein, and made in the USA, a point that Bull’s highlights prominently in its branding. Having joined the Monogram Foods portfolio in 2009, Bull’s continues its mission of making bold, ready-to-eat meat sticks that appeal to a wide audience seeking portable protein.
While they maintain a loyal consumer base, Bull’s snack sticks are pressed and formed, which can yield a softer texture perceived as lower in quality compared to jerky made from whole lean muscle cuts. Bull’s delivers a no‑pork, American‑made snack stick that emphasizes convenience, protein, and shelf‑stable enjoyment, ideal for stashing in lunchboxes, although purists might find the texture less premium than other jerky alternatives. This Bull’s meat stick brand is distributed under the name of Monogram Food Solutions, LLC, located in Memphis, Tennessee.
The first review on Bull’s will focus on a .44 ounce/12 gram bag of their Original flavored meat stick. This flavor is described as a “no pork”, bold twist on the classic American beef stick. The bag was purchased at a convenience store in North Arlington, New Jersey.
Ingredient Review

The beef used is not guaranteed to be free of growth hormones or additional antibiotics. Also, the beef is not guaranteed to have at least partial free range access to graze on grass. Mechanically separated chicken is not a healthy option. As a result, the highest ingredient rating that can be awarded is a Decent (7/10) rating.
A healthy ingredient added is paprika, which is used more for natural coloring. The vague term flavorings is listed, which can contain healthy and unhealthy ingredients.
There is no nutritional facts table provided. As a result, the exact sugar and salt levels are unknown.
This meat stick does not qualify to have no sodium nitrite, as sodium erythorbate and sodium nitrite are used as the main preservatives to lose a rating. Admirably, this meat stick has no MSG added.

BULL’S – ORIGINAL MEAT STICK
Written by guest jerky reviewer Paul Rekker
When I bite the top off the packaging I smell very little. The snack stick looks precisely like the run-of-the-mill grade pepperettes that you see in most convenience stores. It is small, skinny, and rigid. There is no oily residue left on your fingers.
When I bite into the snack stick I immediately taste the intense salt, which I absolutely love. The sweetness is almost non-existent, which is also a great thing. I also taste pepper, garlic, light onion, and vinegar.
This snack stick is quite tasty. I am genuinely enjoying it and am very confident in giving this snack stick a 10/10. Gentlemen?
Here is what Mark had to say about this Original meat stick from Bull’s: “Thanks Paul for the favorable review. We are at different ends of the spectrum here. The saltiness is intense as Paul mentioned, but too intense for my liking, albeit Paul is a salt fiend. From the start, this meat stick is incredibly greasy. It seems as if you could put a straw inside this meat stick and suck the contents out. The ‘snap’ of the texture is excellent, almost to the point where there is too much ‘snap’ if there is such a thing.”
“What really put me off in this taste review is that I encountered something solid. It could have been a fragment of chicken bone, cartilage, beak, or something else. In any case, it was a gross encounter. I can’t even bring myself to finish this small meat stick. Normally, I would give our mascot whippet Lexi the remainder, but she only gets a small piece to protect her health. With Paul at a 10 and myself at a 3, a Decent (7/10) taste rating will be awarded.”
This .44 ounce/12 gram bag sold for $2.25, which rates as an expensive price.

Bag Review
This yellow plastic bag has everything imprinted on the front and nothing on the back. The Bull’s logo has angry looking bull with fire in the background. This bag is vacuum sealed.
A slogan printed on this bag could be “No Pork!”. The only fact printed is “Big Snack Stick”. To the credit of Bull’s, a toll-free phone number is provided for customer inquiries.
Some missing bag categories include a nutrition facts table, a blurb about the company or flavor, and the jerky weight, which is not stated in grams. Admirably, a toll-free phone is provided for customer inquiries.
