The turkey is ethically raised, meaning no growth hormones or additional antibiotics are administered. There is no guarantee of the turkey having free range access. As a result, the highest ingredient rating that can be awarded is a Very Good (9/10) rating.
The only liquid marinade used is lime juice. Limes are loaded with vitamin C.
Healthy black pepper is used, which some people call the King of Spices. The herb basil is known to offer many health benefits.

Taste Review
These strips of jerky are mainly small in size, and sliced borderline thin. The texture is sort of dry, and relatively easy to chew. There are no visible signs of fat, and handling this jerky leaves no oily residue on your fingers.
The first taste noticed is a good level of delicious tasting basil. The lime taste is harder to detect being at a light level. There is a mild level of saltiness, and the black pepper flavor is light tasting.
With almost no sweetness present, there is a good amount of natural turkey flavor present. With not a lot of ingredients used, this flavor is exceptionally tasty. Overall, turkey, lime, and basil turn out to be an excellent combination.
A 2 ounce/57 gram bag is currently on sale online for $3.99. That works out to $2.50 an ounce, which rates as an expensive price. If you enjoy basil and turkey in particular, this flavor reaches the trifecta of being recommended for price, ingredient, and taste perspectives.

This bag displays two “Glatt Kosher” logos, which implies that the meat used had a higher standard of inspection. Specifically, post slaughter, the animal lungs are examined to determine if they are smooth or defect free.
