BeefCake Jerky Co. is a bold and rapidly growing brand founded by Andrew Flair on May 1st, 2023. The brand aimed to introduce a thick and tender cut jerky that is naturally smoked, similar to what can be made at home, to the market. Ingredients: Pork, Beef, Natural Flavorings, Salt, Sodium Citrate, Vinegar, Monosodium Glutamate, Sodium Erythorbate, Sodium Nitrite. Stuffed in a Beef Collagen Casing.
The pork used is guaranteed to be raised ethically with no antibiotics or added hormones. This pork is not guaranteed to have at least partial free range access to roam outside. The beef used is not guaranteed to be free of growth hormones or additional antibiotics. Also, the beef is not guaranteed to have at least partial free range access to graze on grass. As a result, the highest ingredient rating that can be awarded is a Good (8/10) rating.
The sugar content is perfect at 0 grams of sugar per 28 grams of meat stick. The salt level is somewhat high at 430mg of salt per 28 grams of meat stick to lose rating. Our preference is 350mg of salt or less per 28 grams of meat stick.
This meat stick does not qualify to have no sodium nitrite added, as sodium nitrite is used outright along with sodium erythorbate as preservatives to lose a rating. The flavor enhancer monosodium glutamate is used outright to lose another rating.

When I bite off the end of the meat stick packaging, I am convinced I smell vinegar. Not much else though. The meat stick is pretty much the same size and thickness as most other meat sticks.
When I bite into the meat stick, I taste salt, at a tasty level, pepper, also tasty, minimal sweetness, thank goodness, mild garlic, onion, and I do actually taste vinegar as well. It is not overpowering, but it is definitely there. The flavor comes across to me as an original flavor, as advertised, but a very tasty original. I am thoroughly enjoying this very tasty treat and insist upon a 10/10. Gentlemen?

BeefCake Meat Sticks, I can’t find any issue with this meat stick, the flavor and texture are tip top. I appreciate the simplicity and lightness of the seasoning. The meat is pleasantly showcased and enhanced with a simple seasoning, a touch of salt and a splash of acidity. The acidity cuts through the fat while still maintaining its richness and provides a bite of freshness, as it makes the flavor “pop”.
I am a fan of this meat stick, it is highly addictive. I love its light and simple seasoning in the background. It makes the product shine with great taste and a mouthfeel focused on the delicate flavor of the meat. The flavor profile has depth and richness and it’s an easy 10/10 Taste Rating.
