45-47 Jerky – Sweet Liberty Honey Jalapeno Beef Jerky

Wednesday, August 12, 2026 Leave a Comment

4547 Jerky - Sweet Liberty Honey Jalapeno Beef Jerky45-47 Jerky is an American-made beef jerky brand built around bold flavors, premium U.S. beef, and a strongly patriotic theme. 45 and 47 refer to Donald Trump being the 45th and 47th president of the United States. The company describes its jerky as being made from 100% premium U.S. beef that is marinated and cooked to create a tender, protein rich snack.

The brand combines traditional beef jerky with political and American themed branding, positioning its products as an all American snack for people looking for bold flavor and convenient protein. The jerky is made in the USA and marketed as low fat and gluten free, with the company’s messaging emphasizing American tradition, resilience, and pride.
This 45-47 Jerky brand is distributed under the same name as Centennial Cuts, and is located in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. This jerky is manufactured by private labeler Whiskey Hill Smokehouse based out of Hubbard, Oregon.

The first review on 45-47 Jerky will focus on a 3 ounce/85 gram bag of Sweet Liberty Honey Jalapeno flavored beef jerky. This flavor is described as combining the sweetness of honey with the spicy kick of real jalapeño flakes, creating a balanced sweet and spicy flavor. The bag was purchased online from Amazon.

Some healthy ingredients added are healthy Jalapeno flakes, garlic, black pepper, and onion.

The sugar level is high at 8 grams of sugar per 28 grams of jerky to lose a rating. Our preference is 5 grams of sugar or under per 28 grams of jerk/ The salt level is acceptable at 270mg of salt per 28 grams of jerky.

This jerky does qualify to have no sodium nitrite or any other similar unhealthy preservatives. Admirably, this flavor does qualify to have no MSG added.

Taste Review

45-47 JERKY – SWEET LIBERTY HONEY JALAPENO JERKY

When I open the bag I smell sweet. The strips are medium in both size and thickness. The jerky is rigid and dry, just as our forefathers intended. There is no oily residue left on your fingers.

When I bite into the jerky, I taste salt at a decent level, the sweetness is higher than normal, but it marries well with the jalapeño, which is as prevalent as the honey. I taste garlic and onion in the background, but they are both mild.

Overall, I am enjoying this jerky. It is an enjoyable flavor, and it feels good on the palate. A 9/10. Gentlemen?

Here is what Mark had to say about this Sweet Liberty Honey Jalapeno beef jerky flavor from 45-47 Jerky: Thanks Paul for the positive taste review. I pretty much agree with everything stated. The kick from the Jalapeno peppers is noticeable and typical for a Jalapeno based flavor. The heat might rate about a 2 out of 4 or a 3 out of 5 at best on the heat scale. As Paul stated, the sweetness is fairly high, arguably too high. The taste of honey is noticeable and at a good level.”

“The overall taste profile is well balanced, where the heat and honey flavors are the stars of the show. It is a refreshing change not to have any taste of soy sauce. I did encounter an uncomfortable moment with this jerky. While chewing, I encountered something hard. It was almost certainly a chipped tooth, gross, and not mine. Otherwise, this jerky is an enjoyable treat with a good old fashioned dry and tough texture but too sweet tasting. With Paul at a 9 and myself at an 8, a Very Good (9/10) taste rating will be awarded.”

This 3 ounce/85 gram bag of jerky sells for $12.99, which equates to $4.00 an ounce. That rates at an upper threshold average price.

Very Good (9/10) – Taste Rating

Bag Review

This yellow, resealable plastic bag has a label affixed to the front and back with a sticker on the back. The 45-47 Jerky logo shows a bull that could resemble Donald Trump.

A slogan printed might be “Making Jerky Great Again!”. Some facts printed on this bag are “Made in the USA”, “Premium Beef”, “Legendary Flavor”, and “Unstoppable Spirit”.

There are no missing bag categories. There are three good blurbs printed on this bag about the jerky.
