Vinnie was taught a while ago by a jerky master who was retiring. They met because Vinnie had been buying jerky from him for years. After all, it was delicious. Since then, Vinnie has experimented successfully with new flavors. Vinnie describes himself as a Meat Sherpa (#meatsherpa). A sherpa is meaning renowned for its skill in mountaineering. In 2015, Vinnie debuted Vinnie’s Old Time Jerky.
Currently, Vinnie’s Ol Time Jerky has 20 flavors available. Their flavors have a base heat of black pepper, red pepper, garlic, and Tabasco sauce. Vinnie’s Old Time Jerky is distributed under the same name as Vinnie’s Old Time Jerky, and it is located in Garland, Texas.
The next review on Vinnie’s Ol Time Jerky will focus on a 2 ounce/56 gram bag of their sriracha lime flavored beef jerky. This jerky was graciously submitted for review by the founder, Vince Inglhofer, the #meatsherpa.

VINNIE’S OL TIME JERKY – SRIRACHA LIME BEEF JERKY
Written by guest jerky reviewer Paul Rekker
When I open the bag I smell lime. The strips are rather large, but they are sliced somewhat thin. The jerky is dry and chewy, and it leaves no oily residue on your fingers.
When I bite into the jerky I taste salt, pepper, slight sweetness, garlic, onion, vinegar, and that unmistakable flavor of lime. That particular flavor is the most prominent, along with the salt. I do detect heat, but it does not overtake the other flavors. Overall, a very tasty blend of some remarkable flavors. Very well-balanced.
Vinnie, congrats on Italy winning the World Cup. it’s been a while since you guys won. Maybe the Italians were shipped a few pounds of your delectable sriracha lime jerky, to help them build up their stamina and energy, and prevail against England. Either way, Vinnie, you have impressed me once again with your ridiculously tasty jerky. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up 👍👍 A perfect 10/10. Gentlemen?
Here is what Mark had to say about this sriracha lime beef jerky flavor from Vinnie’s Ol Time Jerky: “Thanks Paul for the great taste review. True, there is an impressive level of lime present. True salt also. Then the Huy Fong Sriracha Sauce takes notice with a most pleasurable level of heat along with Vinnie’s #meatsherpa clever base of ingredients. The overall taste profile is legendary, with a mild to medium level of spiciness. This review was a reminder of how well lime and sriracha pair together. A unanimous penalty kick Excellent (10/10) taste rating is a no brainer.
This 4 ounce/113 gram bag of jerky sells for $21.00. That works out to $5.50 an ounce, which rates at a pretty expensive price.

Bag Review
This is a black resealable plastic bag with no labels attached. The bag is vacuum-sealed, the best possible way to keep jerky fresh tasting.
There are no slogans or facts printed on this bag.
There are too many bag categories missing to list them all.
