This meat stick is about 14 inches in length. There are no visible signs of fat, and this meat stick does qualify to have a soft and tender texture, being very easy to chew. Handling this meat stick leaves a faint oily residue on your fingers.
As advertised, it does not take long for a good, mild level of garlic to be noticeable. No other taste jumps out, with everything else at light to faint levels. There is only a light level of salt, and next to no sweetness. The actual meat stick flavor is typical of other meat sticks, but has a higher quality taste.
The texture is borderline extreme soft and tender, which may not be for everyone. With the black pepper at a light level, the other spices are faint tasting. At a consistent level is a light smokiness that compliments the flavor nicely. Overall, this meat stick delivers on bringing a classic meat stick to a new level. This flavor is not prominently greasy, salty, or sweet compared to classic meat sticks, where this tastes clean.
A 1.5 ounce/42 gram meat stick sells online for $1.74. That works out to 86 cents an ounce, which rates as a cheap price. For a guilt free and cheap meat snack, this is a great choice if you love the flavor of garlic.
