The Beef Jerky Outlet debuted their first store in 2010, and this Niagara Falls, New York BJO opened its doors in May 2017. Now there are over 100 Beef Jerky Outlet stores located across the USA, where free samples of jerky usually are available. However, Niagara Falls Beef Jerky Outlet store had zero samples available, and the lone disinterested employee could care less. A wide variety of jerky is available for sale, including various insects in candy. This BJO Smoky Mountain jerky brand is distributed under the name of Beef Jerky Outlet Franchise Inc., and it is located in Kodak, Tennessee, near the Smoky Mountains.
The next review on Beef Jerky Outlet will focus on a 1 ounce/28 gram bag of their original flavored pork kangaroo meat stick. This bag was purchased at the Niagara Falls Beef Jerky Outlet store in Niagara Falls, New York at a Premium Outlet.

BEEF JERKY OUTLET – ORIGINAL PORK KANGAROO STICK
Written by guest jerky reviewer Paul Rekker
When I bite open the packaging, I am met with faint vinegar smell. The pork & kangaroo stick looks primarily like any other meat stick (pepperette), except it is a bit smaller, thinner, and has a lighter hue than your average meat stick.
When I bite into the meat stick I am met with various flavors, such as salt, pepper, garlic, next to no sweet (a very good thing), vinegar and another flavor. I can’t quite put my finger on it, so I cheated and checked the ingredient list, I believe it’s the paprika.
This meat stick is brimming with delectable flavors. I can’t say that I picked up on the pork, much less the kangaroo, but this meat stick is quite tasty. This meat stick definitely qualifies to taste like “more”. I would rate this meat stick as a 10/10, or at least a 9/10. Gentlemen?
Here is what Stéphane had to say: “The Beef Jerky Outlet Pork & Kangaroo Stick is really delicious and flavorful. Many nice flavors are happening, such as the black pepper, a hint of spiciness, a pleasant sourness, and some sweetness to balance this great flavor profile. The flavors are well balanced and I could not stop myself after taking the first bite.”
“The flavors are nice and crisp. This is a mixture of two types of meat, and it would be challenging to state how much of the Kangaroo is coming through. This is however, a delicious and addictive treat, and I’d give it 10/10 taste rating.”
Here is what Mark had to say about this original pork kangaroo meat stick flavor from Beef Jerky Outlet: “Thanks Paul and Stéphane for the fantastic taste reviews. I also enjoyed this pork kangaroo meat stick, where it was kind of delicious.”
“I can also affirm that I did not much detect the taste of kangaroo, but that is par for the course with a meat stick. While I do not know this for certain in this case, the USDA requires you mix in a meat, such as pork.”
“I do have one complaint here. There is almost zero ‘snap’ factor when chewing or breaking off a piece. The beef collagen casing used is just too thin to provide an appreciable ‘snap’.”
“Due to COVID-19, we are down to four people from the Group of Seven for this taste review. Mark M. awarded a 10 rating. While this flavor may well possibly be worthy of a 10 rating, Paul and I believe that a 9 rating is warranted due to the lack of the ‘snap factor’.”
This 1 ounce/28 gram stick sells in the Beef Jerky Outlet store for $7.47, which rates as an expensive price.

Bag Review
This non-resealable, clear plastic bag has a label affixed to the front, and nothing on the back. The Beef Jerky Outlet logo has bull horns above their name. There is a picture of a kangaroo on this bag. This bag is vacuum sealed, the best way to keep this meat stick fresh tasting.
There are no slogans printed on this bag. The only fact printed is “Casing Artificially Colored”.
Some bag categories missing are a nutrition facts table, a company web site, and a blurb printed about this flavor or company.
