While visiting Calabasas, California in 2011, I purchased this 3.25 ounce/92 gram original flavored brand of beef jerky at a Ralphs store. This being the large grocery store chain Ralphs, owned by The Kroger Co. They distribute this jerky based out of Cincinnati, Ohio, and have locations throughout Southern California.

This 3.25 ounce/92 gram bag of peppered flavor beef jerky was purchased in Penn Yan, New York in 2009, located in the Finger Lakes region. It was purchased at a store name Aldi’s, where it was common to see horse and buggies parked in front of the store from the local Amish community.
This Simms brand of jerky is distributed by Aldi Inc., based out of Batavia, Illinois. Most likely this jerky is made by a private labeler, making this a stock recipe. Aldi is a Read More
